One of my favorite times of the day is bedtime because most of the week it is family time. It takes all of us to keep our rhythm. After their best efforts (don't let Spencer fool you, he does know which end goes in his mouth) we will check their mouths for "sugar bugs" and re-brush if necessary. I love to hear a synopsis of their day and a reminder of things and people important to them as they say their prayers. It is important that I don't leave anything out or I will be reminded of it (like: whichever stuffed friend they are sleeping with must be kissed good night too).
