Park days
Many people say to us, welcome to life in the country. What they dont know is that we feel like we have moved to town. A new part of our life is park day once a week- so far a new park every week. The kids love it and i don't mind it either.

I am in love!
Nathan likes to wear sister bike helmet and tries very hard to buckle it himself. He is a careful thinker. I can almost see the wheels turning in that cute little head.
So observant and having 2 older siblings I feel that he is very quick to pick up things.

Millipede nursery
We live on a millipede nursery. I spend a large chunk of everyday raking, shoveling and wheelbarrowing decaying piles of leaves etc... These lovelies love this stuff. Usually when you find them they curl up in a protective spiral. Didn't get a picture of that favorite pose.
Dont eat them! If you pick them up they will "poop" on you. Don't rub it in your eyes!
They are not caterpillars and they are not worms.
They do not have a million legs, but I'd love to see you try and count them.

Saltine toffee
I may or may not have made some tasty mock toffee bar things. You know the ones with saltine crackers, butter, brown sugar and chocolate chips? Well. I have made them plenty of times, but this time i may or may not have decided that it was ok to use bittersweet baking chocolate.
Like i said- it was very tasty.
Do not attempt without plenty of milk nearby.
Melts on your mouth and in your hands. (Oh and these boy melt my heart!)
