January projects

Spencer has joined us in our "preschool" projects and Camilla thinks it is marvelous to have a fellow student friend.
I am beginning to think about Valentine's day and put up a new banner to get me starting to think sweet loving thoughts.
Another goal is not to get behind on birthday cards to mail away- so cards and envelopes are in the works.
Just in two days I've crocheted 7 hats- yep I get on kicks.
Maybe I will put out a few more before locking the yarn away for a few years.
Lastly, I never take pictures of Primary things- but it consumes much of my time, thoughts and love.

Bath time

One of our favorite times of day (sometimes many times a day).
Somehow Mark came home from medicine shopping with an extra thing of bubble bath.
(this is not something he would purchase on purpose)
We put it to good use and the kids thought it made for very good hats.
I still think they are gorgeous- especially with shiny skins and wet eyelashes!

baby bump alert

Not much to say about this.
Everything is going great- maybe even super.
I could almost live like this forever (almost).
My FIL commented that I have begun nesting.
Who's nest couldn't use a little feathering?

what we do in the fog

ok, so it is bright and sunny and probably arm outside, but our mornings have had some fog.

As always, I am working on things and the kids are working on things and here are some of them.

table to get the tv off the floor.

experimenting with painting upholstry which turned out in spite of the large dose of baking soda it received.

can you tell which child is responsible? hint: he left his sippy cup

cami made the most of the mess and made "cake"

to practice making a baby blessing vest- the kids get matchy sunday duds- out of two pairs of trousers

and clay has been popular and many many birthday cakes have been made, candles added and blown out

again and again and again.

Even though I maybe shouldn't eat cake- I will definately have to have something with candles to blow out

as to not dissapoint them. Maybe that is what I am looking forward to the most about turning 31.

the kids getting excited about my birthday cake.

turning out an awesome year

I do wish we were getting a little more sleep, but I guess I should get used to it. I think my children are getting more adorable. I love how Spencer has been trucking around his cars everywhere he goes! Camilla even plays more with cars because she loves playing with her "Spence". Last night I refashioned a possible blessing outfit and it is soaking in bleach now to whiten up- If only I had a little body to try it on. Not that I want the little body to be here yet- I'll let my little 5 pounder grow a few pounds first.

Happy new years

I like steak maybe a little more than the next guy, but don't eat it often at all. We celebrated new year's eve at Tahoe Joes trying to use up a gift card given to use by a nice business associate of Mark's. I think we wouldn't have enjoyed it as much if we would have been paying. Bummers though were the creepy stuffed duck, cami wearing no pants, the rice (not one of us wanted to eat it), me not being able to eat the dessert and cami dumping a glass of ice water in Mark's lap. Ok, I thought that last one was pretty funny.
New Years day Cami and I went and got manicures and pedicures- we feel fresh and ready for 2012!
Here's hoping I can put all the medicine away soon until the family visits again next holiday season.
